A few people have asked if the source code for the tracking system is available. It isn't yet, but we will be making it available in the near future. It will take some time to get the code in a distributable state but I hope to release it before the end of the year.

どうやら大学の技術転移会社？にライセンスする模様です。ここが無料公開してくれたら・・・・・、有料だとしても購入する価値はあると思います。ソースコードなら尚更。

これは同じような研究をやっている人にとってはクリティカルヒット、明日から別の研究内容を探さないといけない級の衝撃のはずです・・・・・・・・既に完成の域に達してますからね。

Parallel Tracking and Mapping for Small AR Workspacesって何？という人は

簡単に言うと、

・特徴点抽出・追跡(=マーカーレス)
・特徴点を3Dマッピング(=3次元空間を認識)
・3DCG描画

をリアルタイムで、しかもノートPC上でやるものです。
